The Elaine takes the espadrille aesthetic and applies it to a sandal silhouette, creating a warm-weather shoe that carries the relaxed Mediterranean character of espadrilles with the open construction and breathability that sandal-weather genuinely demands. The result is a shoe that looks at home everywhere from a harbour-side lunch to an outdoor summer event.
Wear with a linen midi dress and a straw bag for a complete summer look that draws from the same Mediterranean register as the shoe, or pair with wide-leg trousers and a simple top for a clean warm-weather casual approach. The espadrille sole adds a textured, artisanal quality that plain sandal soles lack. A summer shoe with a clear aesthetic point of view.
